Positioned at one of the city's busiest border crossings, the 1,000-square-foot location will operate seven days a week.
It includes ATMs for cash transactions and essential services, along with a team of staff to assist customers.
"In the first 10 months of last year, high-speed rail patronage surpassed 21 million trips, exceeding the total number of trips recorded in 2023. This is an ideal moment to establish our presence at this prominent gateway," said Janet Pang Shuk-ching, head of HSBC distribution, wealth and personal banking.
The center "reinforces HSBC's commitment to its international clientele."
HSBC supports over six million personal banking customers in Hong Kong and has a global network spanning 60 countries and territories.
It also plans to open a flagship branch at Kai Tak Sports Park in the first quarter of 2025, a key venue for major international events. This branch will offer convenient banking services to both the local community and global visitors.
