Hang Seng Bank (0011) has unveiled an innovative future banking service mode with the management team taking part in the creation of a short drama to showcase the Hang Seng Future Bank 2.0 services while also promoting financial literacy.
The short drama was directed by Ronnie Chau, known for the film Missing, and written by Hong Kong author Sapeiar.
From January 16, Hang Seng Bank will launch six episodes of The Future Stars on its official YouTube channel and LinkedIn over two weeks.
The series narrates the tale of a planet in outer space, named The Star that is responsible for managing the banking system of the entire universe and is run by a group of children.
The plot begins with an unexpected storm that disrupts the banking system, causing operational challenges.
Hang Seng’s advanced future banking services are ready on Earth, prompting several young leaders to adventure there in hopes to acquire knowledge to restore their system.
The performance is delivered by a cast of young actors portraying Hang Seng's management team, including Diana Cesar, executive director and chief executive of Hang Seng Bank.
The first episode -- Can't Forget Financial Management -- is available on social media.
The skit received support from Arthur Yuen Kwok-hang, deputy chief executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
