Tung Chung Line and Airport Express services disrupted due to passenger on track

The MTR Corporation announced that train services on the Airport Express and Tung Chung Line were disrupted on Tuesday due to an incident involving a person on the track between Tsing Yi Station and Sunny Bay Station.

The incident happened at around 2.15 pm. Airport Express trains between Tsing Yi Station and Airport Station; and Tung Chung Line trains between Tsing Yi Station and Sunny Bay Station will operate at a slower speed.

The MTR noted that the total journey time on the Airport Express between Hong Kong Station and AsiaWorld-Expo Station could be extended by 20-25 minutes and on the Tung Chung Line between Hong Kong Station and Tung Chung Station by 20-25 minutes.

The close out time of In-town Check-in service will be extended from 90 minutes to 120 minutes.
