"iAM Smart” platform launches to allow access to digital government services

Hong Kong residents can download the “iAM Smart” one-stop personalized digital government services platform starting tomorrow morning at 9am, gaining access to over 23  digital government services and digital services of the city’s power and gas companies.

All local residents of age over 11 years can download the application on their smartphone and register for the free service.

Secretary for Innovation and Technology Alfred Sit Wing-hang said the app will later support a health care function, providing vaccination and Covid testing records of the user.

Sit said by mid-next year, the platform is expected to support over 110 government services. The new platform will be able to authenticate user’s ID, fill in application forms automatically, digital signing, along with providing personalized alerts such as bill payment reminders.
