Kim Soo Hyun files legal action and refutes leaked 'fabricated' photos

South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun has filed another complaint against "Garosero Research" -- the YouTube channel claimed that Kim was dating late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was still a minor.

Kim's legal team announced Wednesday (Apr 2) that the firm has filed an additional complaint against the operator of the YouTube channel on charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act.

They believe the channel spread false information that damaged Kim's privacy and reputation by creating fake photos and evidence.

It added that despite Kim and his agency, Goldmedalist, denying the claims about the alleged relationship during Kim Sae Ron's underage years, the channel continues to share misleading information based on the manipulated evidence and photos. 

The team has also refuted some of the photos provided by the channel, including one that claimed Kim Soo Hyun was seen doing dishes half-naked at Kim Sae Ron's home when she was a minor.

Kim's team clarified that Kim Sae Ron moved into the apartment in January 2020 and she had already turned 18 at that time.

Another photo cheek-kissing photo which Garosero Research claimed to be taken in 2015, was actually clicked after 2019 when Kim Sae Ron was also an adult, the team said.

Additionally, they noted that a photo from a ski trip was taken in 2020, which included not just the two of them but also other individuals from Kim's agency Goldmedalist.
