Shiseido enlivens afternoons at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is preparing to excite gourmands and beauty enthusiasts by partnering with prestige beauty brand Shiseido to present an exclusive afternoon tea set throughout September.

Marking the launch of the Future Solution Legendary Enmei Ultimate Renewing Cream, guests who order the Shiseido afternoon tea will receive a luxurious gift set to experience the power of potent regenerating formula first-hand.

The formula, is infused with 12 Japanese botanical ingredients that promise to reverse visible signs of aging. At the heart of the cream is the enmei herb, cultivated from the foothills of Mount Koya in Japan, and green treasured silk, a balm incorporating Japanese oak moths from the mountain forests.

In celebration of the collaboration, Executive Pastry Chef, Christoph Sapy, has created a Japanese themed afternoon tea, which includes an assortment of sweet treats such as enmei herb-infused mango and passion fruit macaron, yuzu and white chocolate bavarois, matcha and raspberry madeleine, red bean mochi and the 1963 Mandarin cheesecake.

The Japanese inspiration is extended to a beautifully crafted zen garden that features brown sugar crème brûlée and black sesame nougatine ganache. Diners will continue the afternoon tea ritual with a range of refined sandwiches and pastries, followed by a selection of scones, accompanied by Mandarin Oriental’s famous rose petal jam and Devon clotted cream.

During the promotion, every guest who orders the tea set will receive a complimentary voucher to a Future Solution Ultimate Longevity Skincare Set worth HK$950 inclusive of an Extra Rich Cleaning Foam, a Concentrated Balancing Softener, a Total Protective Cream, a Total Regenerating Cream, as well as an Eye and Lip Contour Regenerating Cream.

Available at Clipper Lounge and Café Causette located on the mezzanine level of the hotel, the afternoon tea is priced at HK$368 per person or HK$548 per person including one glass of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Brut or Brut Rosé NV.

Afternoon tea is served from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and public holidays, as well as 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
