Shimao's (0813) new luxury residential project near Kowloon Tong has been named Beacon Peak and will offer 332 flats in the first phase.

Most of the homes at Beacon Peak are larger than 1,000 square feet, according to Eric Wong Tsz-yan, the sales and marketing controller at Adventure Success, a company under Shimao.
Beacon Peak yesterday revealed a four-bedroom show flat with an area of 1,711 sq ft on the 19th floor, with a dining and living area of around 470 sq ft.
Meanwhile, New World Development's (0017) residential project, State Pavilia in North Point, has entered the final stages of preparation for its show flat and sales brochure, with the brochure expected to be uploaded online soon.
The upscale residential project within the mixed-used redevelopment of the historic State Theatre in the Eastern District will offer a total of 388 units ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom homes.Most of the three-bedroom and four-bedroom flats enjoy harbor views and will be launched by tender.
In other news, the primary market fared well on the first day of 2025.Mori in Tuen Mun, developed by Road King Infrastructure (1098), sold five flats for a total of HK$25.6 million.
And Double Coast I in Kai Tak, co-developed by four developers including Wheelock Properties and Henderson Land (0012), sold two homes for HK$13.42 million.Besides, the number of transactions for second-hand homes surged by around 30 percent year-on-year to 27,180 in 2024, a new high in seven years, according to Midland.
