The developer and the Hong Kong Green Building Council organized a conference on sustainable development on Monday, attracting more than 1,700 participants.
Secretary for Development Bernadette Linn Hon-ho said Chinachem's modular integrated construction project in Tonkin Street is the first high-rise private residential MiC project in Hong Kong, and is happy that the second project is being planned.
Chinachem chief executive Donald Choi Wun-hing said the company also launched a green finance framework under which it will work with financial institutions to promote green finance by providing funds to sustainability projects.
