Sands China (1928) will raise salaries for all employees by at least 2.5 percent starting March and distribute bonuses to share the fruits of the quick recovery last year after China's reopening.
The Macau casino operator will pay a performance bonus equal to one month's salary to all eligible full-time employees who have completed one year of service this month, Macau media said.
For those with less than one year of service but joined before October 2023, a pro-rata performance bonus will be paid as well, it said.
Eligible full-time staff with a monthly pre-tax salary not exceeding 13,000 patacas (HK$12,629.7) will receive a pay rise of 600 patacas, which is equivalent to a rise of 4.7 percent to 5.4 percent, the report said. Those who earned more than 13,000 patacas will get a 2.5 percent pay increase. MGM China (2282) earlier also said it would pay a one-month-salary bonus to staff.
