Tree falls onto taxi in Hung Hom as Typhoon Ragasa approaches, no injuries reported

A tree branch fell onto a parked taxi in Hung Hom early Wednesday as Super Typhoon Ragasa approached Hong Kong, with the Observatory preparing to issue the No. 9 typhoon signal at 1:40am.

The incident occurred around midnight near Wang Hom Road when strong winds caused a large tree limb to break and fall onto a taxi parked nearby. Firefighters arrived at the scene and used tools to cut and remove the fallen branches.

The affected area measured approximately 2 by 2 meters. No injuries were reported in the incident.
