At least five flights canceled, 145 delayed due to inclement weather

Five flights were canceled, while 145 others have been delayed as of 11am due to inclement weather.

Airport Authority Hong Kong said the airport maintained near-normal operations though a red lightning warning temporarily halted apron work this morning. 

According to the Authority’s website, the canceled flights include those departing for Beijing, Miyako, Osaka, Manila and Taipei.

The Airport Authority Hong Kong reminds passengers to check the latest flight information with their airlines before departing for the airport and to confirm their flight times before heading to the airport.
