Hong Kong football team climbs to 147th in FIFA World Rankings

The Hong Kong football team has risen six places to 147th in the latest FIFA Men's World Ranking released on Thursday. 

The improvement follows their recent international matches in June, where they drew 0-0 with Nepal and secured a 1-0 victory over India.

Meanwhile, the Chinese national team remained unchanged at 94th after a 1-0 loss to Indonesia and a 1-0 win over Bahrain in World Cup Asian qualifiers.

Japan remains the highest-ranked Asian team at 17th globally. The top five spots in the world rankings are held by Argentina, Spain, France, England, and Brazil.
