Experience the best view dining at Harborside Grill. Located at the tip of Ocean Terminal Extension in Harbor City, it offers a scenic view of Victoria Harbor - a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable countdown. Enjoy a fantastic four-course meal (HK$888 per person) with live music from 5.30pm to 8pm for early diners. From then on, a glass of champagne will be served with fresh seafood to start your five-course meal (HK$1,588 per person). You can choose between delicately cooked sea bass or flavorful M5 wagyu sirloin for your main course. Finish off your meal with a signature apple tarte tatin. If you wish to watch the fireworks show while dining, you can go to the alfresco terrace starting from 11pm. For earlier entry, the restaurant also offers early bird tickets accompanied with one house-selected drink.

Located on the first floor of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, you can enjoy a three-course dinner (HK$880) at 5.30pm or 6pm. From 8.30pm, they offer a five-course supper (HK$1,800 per person) with sweet and savory treats. For starters, you can choose from sacchetti or homemade cheese curd. There are three options for your entree, including butter squash wellington, M5 wagyu sirloin or line-caught turbot. Complete your meal with either a 72 percent chocolate pistachio tart, pistachio crumble and pomegranate sorbet or a pavlova with vanilla cream, whisky blackcurrant and blueberry sorbet.
Do you want to be on top of the city before this year ends? Perla is located on the 101/F of the International Commerce Centre and it guarantees to give you a bird's-eye view of the harbor. It offers Southern Italian cuisine inspired by the breathtaking harbor view. Its New Year's Eve menu (HK$1,880 per person) includes cured striped jack, langostino and virtu, the restaurant's mix of short pasta with a selection of seafood. It is a great place to savor fine dining while enjoying the cityscape as it sparkles and shimmers with fireworks along its skyline on the last day of 2023.
If trying out a new restaurant is on your bucket list, Sabatini certainly checks that box off. This renowned restaurant just opened its second branch at IFC mall. Located on the fourth floor, it provides a panoramic view from the other side of the harbor. Kick-start your meal with a refreshing New Zealand scampi carpaccio with Oscetra caviar (HK$688). Another scrumptious appetizer is the dry marinated wagyu beef with horseradish mayonnaise, wild rocket and herbed tomato (HK$448). Continue your supper with homemade pasta such as the classic plin agnolotti with spinach and veal jus (HK$468) or cavatelli with Sicilian red prawns, cherry tomatoes and parsley (HK$688). Order its pan-fried fillet of Dover sole with asparagus and pinot grigio sauce (HK$768) if you want to enjoy some seafood while toasting the New Year.
Traditional Chinese cuisine is another great way to end 2023 if you crave for its warmth and flavor during these cold days. Hutong, located on the 18/F of H Zentre, will appease your Chinese palate with phenomenal views of the harbor. The restaurant's dinner and party package consists of a six-course menu (HK$1,980 per person) with dance performances and DJs. Savor an authentic Chinese meal with tasty dishes such as black truffle scented abalone, Hunan spicy golden king crab leg and ma la spicy lobster while marveling at the fireworks show.
You can also celebrate and dance the year away at INK, located on the ground floor of the Hong Kong Museum of Art. It's offering a VIP package (HK$4,300 per table) including private seating for up to four guests, perfect for an intimate gathering.
