Perched high on the 25th floor of Tower 535 at Jaffe Road in Causeway Bay, The Summit, a newly-opened, fine-dining restaurant boasts not only stunning panoramic harbor views, but also exquisite Cantonese cuisine curated by Michelin-starred chefs.
At the recent opening ceremony, Mr Jacky Bahrunani, Chairman of The Summit, promised guests a feast for both the palate and the eye. Covering an area of 12,000 sq ft, the restaurant features an ornate décor theme reminiscent of an imperial court, with five private rooms bearing floral names, and adding a subtle touch of elegance and sophistication to customers’ dining experience.
Helmed by Michelin-starred chefs who have mastered the nuances of traditional handmade Cantonese dishes that have been passed down the generations, The Summit also excels in innovative dishes that are eminently Instagrammable. The emphasis is to elevate the dishes to the highest level in terms of presentation, aroma and flavor.
Its fascinating array of mouth-watering dishes include such delightful delicacies as ‘Braised Beef Short Ribs in Clay Pot’, ‘Premium Dried Scallop and Sticky Rice in Lotus leaf’, ‘Bamboo Fungus and Vegetable Rolls’, ‘Chilled Japanese Wagyu Beef Rolls’, and much more. Gourmands should also look out for the signature dish of ‘Honey-glazed Char Siu’ that has been marinated based on a secret recipe and roasted to perfection; and the signature dim sum of ‘Full Moon Puff Dumpling’ that not only titillates the taste buds, but is also a work of art.
The Summit’s innovative spirit is also reflected in the creation of five non-alcholic specialty drinks, all made with fruits and cold-brewed Chinese teas, including Pu-er, Oolong, Jasmine, Tie Guan Yin and Chrysanthemum.
In support of the Government’s latest announcement of ‘Hong Kong Night Delights’ aimed at bolstering the local economy, The Summit has introduced a 10% discount from 8 pm onwards, at the same time waiving the tea and condiments charges as well.
