With so many of us stuck at home during the pandemic, the yearning for the outdoors has grown even stronger.

Giving in to this desire to reconnect with the outdoors, Giorgio Armani looked to the natural world to imagine spaces, furnishings and accessories which brings the outside world into the home.
"I took my inspiration for this Armani/Casa collection from nature. We live on this planet, and we need to be in touch with the earth," said the designer.
"Natural elements give us calm and serenity and provide the background against which we can express ourselves."
Reflecting a strong move toward life outdoors, the leitmotif translates into delicate animal print patterns and textures, motifs that reference flowers and leaves as well as the reproduction of stone veining.
The color palette is also a clear reference to nature: light and dark greens, blues, turquoises and a wide range of earthy neutrals.
Designed with a light touch, the furniture's elegant line show the designer's aesthetic. Matching decorative details create a visual link between the different areas of the home.
Understated yet deluxe pieces such as the Rousseau desk make for a practical home office, but also blends seamlessly into the living area.
In the living room, structural details can be found in the Rodeo pouf that echo those of the generously sized sofas. The minimalist Rosemond table and Roslin chair in ash and satin-finish pale brass create a focal point without adding clutter.
The same light touch can be found in the bedroom area, where the Ronin screen, lit from within, creates a subtle halo of light that defines its contours.
Products for rest and sleep are either fully upholstered or, by contrast, distinctive in their slender structures. Geometric shapes and natural elements are used to allow the lamps to echo the materials of the furniture, including satin-finish brass and rich dark woods.
Nature also makes an appearance in the bedroom. Fabric-covered Roomy boxes, examples of a focus on sustainability, are perfect for storing items, while the fragrance diffusers for the wardrobes give off subtle scents.
The selection is completed by the cruelty-free Pegaso wax candles and Riviere water bottle with two glasses for the night table.
For a touch of whimsy, Armani has designed two new additions to the games collection: a Go Game, and dual-purpose Regni throw printed with a chessboard design so it can be used as a playing board using the large orange and dark green pieces in regenerated leather fiber.
Joining the Pump collection of home fitness accessories, introduced last year, is a steel water bottle with leather details and shoulder strap.
