Muse cancels Abu Dhabi concert over unforeseen circumstances

British rock group Muse cancelled their upcoming concert at Etihad Arena scheduled for February 4. Promoter Live Nation confirmed the cancellation.

The band also scrapped scheduled performances in India and South Africa. In a statement shared by the promoter, Muse said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to proceed with the upcoming scheduled shows in India, South Africa and UAE.”

The group added that the decision was not taken lightly and apologized to those who purchased tickets. Live Nation says all ticket holders will receive automatic refunds with no further action required.

The trio last performed in the United Arab Emirates capital in December 2024 as part of the Abu Dhabi Formula One after-race concert series. That performance followed their regional debut on Yas Island in 2013.

No information has been shared regarding whether the cancelled date will be rescheduled.
