A new Coffee Zone offering uncommon roasted beans -- including those from Yunnan -- for tasting will be featured in the upcoming Food Expo that is set to be held next week.
Running concurrently with the Expo are the Beauty & Wellness Expo, Home Delights Expo, Hong Kong International Tea Fair and the Food Expo PRO, with the Tea Fair newly open to both trade visitors and the public.

The five exhibitions will feature around 1,890 exhibitors from 35 countries and regions, including first-time participants from Brazil, Mongolia, and Zimbabwe, plus nine ASEAN nations.
There will be 45 regional pavilions, representing mainland Chinese provinces, Macao, Japan, Korea, and others.
Exploring global coffee culture at Food Expo
The newly introduced Coffee Zone at the Food Expo will feature coffee products, accessories, and machines from various countries and regions.
Yunnan, China's leading coffee bean producer, will be showcasing Kunlu Mountain and Jinpaoshan roasted beans, alongside other specialty products.
The Hong Kong Specialty Coffee Association will also host a coffee cupping competition, challenging professional baristas' taste and smell, fostering exchange among coffee enthusiasts.

Enhancing Hong Kong's halal food landscape
Building on last year's introduction of halal food and beverage label, more than 120 exhibitors from the mainland, Japan, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and beyond will be showcasing premium halal products and strengthening Hong Kong's position as an international food hub.
A seminar on the halal food market will feature Kowloon Shangri-La, the first local hotel to earn a Level 5 Muslim-Friendly Accommodation Certification from Crescent Rating, alongside experts discussing opportunities in the halal industry.
Several exhibitors offering HK$1 promotion
To mark the Food Expo's 35th edition, exhibitors will offer over 100 special HK$35 promotions. Many are even offering promotions for just HK$1.

Among them, On Kee will launch a game for winning abalone on the first day, giving away 3,888 packs of instant snack abalone—limited to the first nine people in line.
Some will also offer HK$1 dishes on the first day, including abalone, fish maw, as well as chicken clay pot products.

The "Gourmet Zone" highlighting seven themed sections—from mains to desserts—including Taiwan's 80-year-old wagashi shop 'Meigetsudo', award-winning beef noodles, and specialty coffee.
There will be 10 star chefs to demonstrate exquisite dishes using premium ingredients.
China's Agricultural Trade Promotion Center also presents nearly 1,000 products from 13 provinces, including Anhui and Xinjiang.
The Tea Fair opens to buyers and ticket holders for the first time
The 16th Hong Kong International Tea Fair will open to buyers and the public for three days, featuring premium teas like Baihao Yinzhen white tea, German floral-fruit teas, and Yunnan cherry blossom black tea.

As for the silver economy, exhibitors like Mannings will offer free health tests for seniors. Seminars explore immunity-boosting diets, therapeutic soups, and cross-border medical trends in Hong Kong will also be held.
Hong Kong Trade Development Council deputy executive director Sophia Chong Suk-fan said the Food Expo and related events, centered on themes like 'Shall We Tea?' and 'Taste HK', will offer diverse products, promotions, and interactive experiences to boost local consumption.
