Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15 series on September 13, as some US telecom companies were said to have advised their employees not to take leave on that day, due to a "major smartphone announcement," according to tech website 9to5Mac.

That was similar to what Bloomberg reported later where the news agency said the iPhone 15 will go on sale around September 22 following an event planned for either September 12 or 13.
The pro model is expected to include borders around the display that are one-third thinner, a titanium frame that feels lighter and more premium than the current stainless-steel design, big camera improvements, a USB-C charging port, and a faster processor.
Sales of the iPhone slid 2.4 percent to US$39.7 billion (HK$309.67 billion) last quarter. The device has had earlier blips - including a rough patch in China in early 2019, a Covid-related launch delay in 2020, and supply chain problems in 2022 - but the iPhone doesn't usually suffer sales declines.
