Town Health International Medical (3886) said it's expected to swing to a net profit of HK$10.4 million to HK$16.3 million in 2025, compared with a loss of HK$203.7 million a year ago.
The company attributed the improvement to decreases in fair value losses on its investment properties, impairment losses on its interests in associates, and impairment losses on its goodwill, as well as the firm's share of associates' profits as compared with losses in 2024.
If the "other gains and losses, net" are excluded, the company expects an operating profit attributable to the shareholders in the range from approximately HK$26.5 million to HK$41.6 million, up 4.3 percent to 63.8 percent as compared with that of nearly HK$25.4 million in 2024.
