Hong Kong shares reversed all the gains and closed lower on Tuesday, ending the four-day rally.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index inched down 27 points, or 0.11 percent, to 25,774, with a full-day turnover of HK$157.1 billion.
The Hang Seng Tech Index edged down by 0.69 percent to 5,488, and the China Enterprises Index decreased 0.29 percent to 8,913.
The tech sector delivered mixed performance. Xiaomi (1810) and Tencent (0700) fell 1.26 percent and 1.22 percent, respectively, while Lenovo (0992) and BYD (0285) inched up 0.86 percent and 0.59 percent.
Kuaishou (1024) slid 3.29 percent on the cyberattack after plumping as much as 6 percent.
Cathay Pacific Airways (0293) saw its shares surge over 7 percent following the forecast of a better full‑year performance.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.07 percent to 3,919, while the Shenzhen Component Index increased 0.27 percent to 13,368.
