China vows to better balance supply and demand to boost consumption

China's cabinet pledged on Friday to boost consumption by better aligning supply with demand and improving the quality of goods and services, according to a meeting readout aired by China's state broadcaster CCTV.

The cabinet also said it would create a good environment for consumption with more consumer finance products and services.
