Hong Kong stocks opened higher on the second day of the week, with three newly listed shares climbing as much as 110 percent.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index opened at 26,500, 75 points or 0.28 percent higher than the previous close.
The tech gauge also advanced to 6,198, 0.45 percent higher from the previous close.
Today, four new stocks were listed. Deepexi Technology (1384) surged 110 percent on the offer price. Bama Tea (6980) jumped 60 percent and CIG Shanghai (6166) grew 36 percent. Sany Heavy Industry (6031) opened flat.
