Hang Seng Index changes little on Tuesday

Hong Kong stocks closed flat on Tuesday as investors await the Fed meetings. 

The benchmark Hang Seng Index inched down by 8 points to 26,438 points.

The market turnover was HK$294 billion. 

The Hang Seng Tech Index grew 0.56 percent to 6,077 points.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was muted at 3,861 points, and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index rose 0.45 percent to 13,063 points.
