AngloGold Ashanti net jumps to US$203m on rising gold prices

AngloGold Ashanti on Monday posted higher first quarter earnings, driven by stronger gold prices, Reuters reports.

The Johannesburg-listed miner reported headline earnings for the three months to the end of March of US$203 million, up by 42 percent compared with US$143 million a year earlier.
