Ant exec says HK offers trade finance advantages

Hong Kong has introduced innovative measures such as virtual banks, which are expected to promote the development of small commercial loans and trade finance, accelerating the development of financial technology, said Chen Leiming, senior vice president at Ant Group.

Chen said that as a global financial center, Hong Kong has logistics infrastructure and an independent judicial system, which could help the development of small and micro enterprises, especially the “One Belt One Road” initiative.
