Genting HK halts some cruises, shuts German shipyards

Genting Hong Kong (0678) said due to the increase in coronavirus infections in Germany, operations in all three shipyards of MV Werften in Wismar, Rostock and Stralsund, Germany owned by the group will be temporarily suspended for four weeks from March 21.

The operations of some cruise ships of the group have also been  suspended. Genting Cruise Lines is a division of the company with thre brands Star Cruises, Dream Cruises and Crystal Cruises.
