In view of the overwhelming response to its special $16,000 monthly rental deal, Horizon Hotels & Suites is extending the booking deadline for this promotion until the Mid-Autumn Festival weekend (October 4).
Since launching the attractive deal in early September, Horizon Hotels & Suites has received over a thousand enquiries, and successfully rented out close to 100 homes, including many with a leasing period of more than one year. .
Joseph Lau, Director of Cheung Kong Real Estate Limited, points out that their flexible arrangements meet the varying needs for either short-term or long-term rentals. Guests need not pay a deposit, and there is a minimum of documentation. He notes that the generous deal has attracted guests originally living in districts such as Hong Kong Island East and the New Territories.
Based on the ‘Famitel Living’ concept that blends the coziness of home with the comforts of a hotel, these fully-furnished spacious suites feature 2 to 3 rooms with lounge and dining room, not to mention spectacular harbor views for select units. Guests can also avail of the comprehensive range of hotel-class facilities, including outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, children's playground, and more.
In support of government’s Universal Community Testing Programme for Covid-19, the four hotels of Horizon Hotels & Suites, a subsidiary of Cheung Kong Property Development, viz, Harbourfront Horizon Suites and Harbourview Horizon Suites at Hung Hom, Horizon Suites at Ma On Shan, and Apex Horizon Suites at Kwai Chung, have distributed testing kits to their staff for voluntary participation in the testing scheme, and all test results have come back negative.
“In spite of an easing in the epidemic, the hotels have kept up with their epidemic prevention procedures,” says Lau. “In addition to an independent air-conditioning system in each suite, all windows can be opened and closed freely to enhance air circulation, thereby reducing the risk of virus incubation.”
To further protect employees and guests, a series of anti-epidemic measures have been implemented. They include weekly spraying of sterilizer in corridors and public spaces; installing transparent boards in reception area to reduce the risk of droplet transmission; placing temperature detectors at the lobby; disinfecting public spaces, shuttle buses and facilities every hour; disinfecting suites thoroughly after check-out; checking all employees’ temperature before work; and ensuring masks are worn at all times.
