Shanghai Disney Resort announced on Monday that it will refine its theme park ticket pricing structure beginning mid-October 2025, offering guests more options when planning their visits.
The changes will introduce additional price tiers between the current range of RMB 475 and RMB 799, though the lowest and highest price points will remain unchanged.
The resort currently uses a six-tier pricing model but will expand this to include more finely differentiated price points.
The update is designed to better reflect local consumer visitation patterns and improve the guest experience by distributing attendance more evenly throughout the year.
A rolling 30-day pricing calendar will continue to be available, allowing visitors to view ticket prices in advance and plan their trips accordingly. Daily tier levels will be determined based on forecasted attendance.
“By narrowing the price gaps between adjacent tiers, we are providing guests with more pricing options while helping the resort balance visitor numbers across different periods,” a representative from Shanghai Disney Resort said. “This supports our ongoing effort to enhance the overall guest experience.”
The resort also emphasized its commitment to developing innovative offerings and optimizing its ticketing systems to align with evolving consumer travel habits.
Shanghai Disneyland’s admission pricing has long used a dynamic model aimed at managing crowd levels and improving visitor satisfaction. The upcoming refinement continues this strategy while offering increased flexibility and choice for guests.
