There were now new confirmed coronavirus infections in northeast China's Heilongjiang province on Sunday, the provincial health commission said today, Xinhua reports.
By Sunday, the province had reported a total of 558 locally-transmitted confirmed cases and 386 imported cases.
Also by Sunday, 484 locally-infected patients as well as 173 imported cases had been discharged from hospital after recovery.
A total of 19,822 close contacts in the province had been tracked as of the end of Sunday, 2,213 of whom were still under medical observation.
By Sunday, the province had a total of 23 domestically-infected and five imported asymptomatic cases, according to the commission.
