HK stocks soar more than 3pc at open

The Hang Seng Index opened 591 points higher this morning, at 19,592 points.

Tech stocks rose, with Tencent (0700) up 3.9 percent, Alibaba (9988) gaining 3.3 percent, Meituan (3690) surging over 5 percent, and JD.com (9618) increasing 4.8 percent.

Meanwhile, China Resources Mixc Lifestyle Services (1209) and Li Ning (2331) surged over 6 percent. Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing (0388) also rose 3.9 percent.
