Chinese milk formula maker China Feihe (6186) announced plans to roll out a nationwide childbirth subsidy program in early April, with an estimated investment of 1.2 billion yuan (HK$1.29 billion), as Beijing continues to unveil policies to boost birth rates.

The company said that eligible expecting families will receive a subsidy of no less than 1,500 yuan.
Maternal and infant care services -- including prenatal guidance, breastfeeding support and postpartum recovery care -- will also be offered, said the company.
