XPeng Aeroht, the electric vehicle maker’s affiliate, said an intellectual manufacturing base has been built, which is the world's first use of a modern assembly line for large-scale mass production of flying cars factory, and it will be used for the production of aircraft of the split flying car.
The factory has an annual planned capacity of 10,000 vehicles and the construction is planned to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
The flying cars will be produced and delivered in 2026, the company said.
XPeng hit as high as HK$49.9 apiece in the morning, before retreating to HK$48.2, 1.6 percent higher than the previous close.
