Iran school death toll rises to about 70 in US-Israel strikes as Middle East conflict escalates

According to Iranian media, the death toll from an Israeli missile strike on a primary school in Iran has risen to about 70, with over 90 others injured, amid rapidly intensifying conflict in the Middle East.

On February 28, Israel and the United States launched coordinated attacks on multiple sites in Iran. Israel described the operation as a preemptive strike and declared a nationwide state of emergency.

US President Donald Trump announced large-scale combat operations against Iran under the name “Epic Fury.”

Explosions rocked central Tehran and other areas, sending up thick smoke.

Iran retaliated by firing multiple missiles at Israel and conducting air strikes on several US military bases across the Middle East.
