"We're expecting a matter of millions of doses for the whole of the UK by the end of the year, and I'm purposefully not putting a figure on it, because we don't know," he said on BBC Radio 4.
Hancock told Sky News the military are involved in the logistics of the vaccine roll-out and 800,000 jabs are being brought from Belgium.
He added that the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation will be setting out how the vaccine will be prioritised among the population.-Graphic Sky News
