Flight MU745 landed at Buenos Aires' Ministro Pistarini International Airport on Thursday afternoon local time, establishing the only direct non-stop air link between China and Argentina.
The service operates twice weekly in each direction, with Monday and Thursday departures from Shanghai taking 25 hours 55 minutes, and Tuesday and Friday returns from Buenos Aires requiring 29 hours. All flights include a technical stop in Auckland, New Zealand for passenger and cargo handling.
China Central Television reported the direct route reduces travel time between China and South America by over four hours, offering more comfortable and convenient travel for passengers between the two countries.
