A tour bus carrying multiple Chinese passengers overturned in Iceland on October 6, resulting in more than a dozen injuries.

The accident occurred when the bus veered off the road and rolled over in the Seljalands area of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. According to Chinese passenger Jiang Jun (pseudonym), the bus crashed off the highway and landed on its side, with all right-side windows shattered.
Local media reported the bus carried 42 tourists. Icelandic authorities dispatched helicopters to transport two seriously injured individuals to major hospitals, while other casualties were taken to medical facilities by ambulance.
Jiang described suffering back injuries that left him immobilized and in urgent need of assistance. He confirmed approximately a dozen people were hospitalized following the incident.
The Chinese Embassy in Iceland stated they had immediately contacted local police, rescue agencies, the Red Cross, and national hospitals, maintaining close communication with relevant departments while addressing online assistance requests from affected tourists.
