Amusement ride collapses in Saudi Arabia: 23 injured, 3 critical

A terrifying accident struck Green Mountain Park in Taif, Saudi Arabia, when a 360-degree "pendulum" thrill ride snapped mid-operation, sending the entire structure crashing down. 

The incident, which occurred on Thursday, left 23 people injured—including three in critical condition, according to reports.

Eyewitnesses described the ride's central support pillar suddenly breaking apart while in motion, causing the attraction to collapse. 

Disturbing footage circulating online shows riders plummeting to the ground as the structure gave way, though none were ejected from their seats.

Emergency teams rushed to the scene, transporting the injured to multiple local hospitals.

As of the latest updates, three victims remain in life-threatening condition.
