Family of late actress Kim Sae Ron vow to unveil evidence against Kim Soo Hyun

As the controversy surrounding South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae Ron intensifies, her family is set to hold a press conference on Thursday (Mar 27) to present evidence suggesting that Kim Soo Hyun started dating their daughter while she was still underage.

It is reported that the press conference will take place at 1.30pm at the Space Share Gangnam Station in Seocho-dong, Seoul, where all relevant information regarding the couple's relationship during her underage years, as well as the recent false accusations against the family will be addressed.

The family earlier shared a statement via the YouTube channel Garosero Research, revealing that Kim Sae Ron had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun from November 19, 2015, to July 7, 2021, during which she was only 15 years old. 

Not only has the relationship raised suspicions of Kim Soo Hyun's conduct, but the YouTube channel also linked him to the late actress' tragic death, suggesting she was under pressure to repay the 700 million won (about HK$3.7 million) compensation.

In response, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, has only confirmed that their relationship lasted from the summer of 2019 until the autumn of 2020, asserting that the actor did not require Kim Sae Ron to repay the fund.

With opposing statements from both parties, there are expectations that the late actress' family may release photos or evidence between the pair that has undergone digital forensic investigation.

Meanwhile, rumors about the late actress' cause of death continued, with another YouTuber, Lee Jun Ho, who has been charged with defamation by the family, claiming Kim Sae Ron was suffering from emotional distress owing to her marriage, sharing recordings of Kim allegedly being pregnant and having an abortion.

However, Kim's husband has refuted the claims on Garosero Research, denying the rumors that Kim was forced into marriage for being pregnant. He emphasized that they were married on January 11 but only dated for one month, making it impossible for her to have been pregnant then.
