Citybus passengers taking the two new routes covering Ma On Shan, Sai Sha, University Station, and Pak Shek Kok, can enjoy discounts on bike riding as the company is launching the city's first bus-bike interchange on April 28.
Route 581 will provide daily services between Sai Sha, Wu Kai Sha Station, and Ma On Shan Town Centre with a time of around 20 minutes, while route 582 will connect Sai Sha, University Station, Science Park, and Pak Shek Kok.
Citybus also cooperates with Loco bike-sharing, for the city's first-ever bus-bike scheme. New Loco users can get two vouchers for a 30-minute free ride by scanning the QR code when traveling on route 581 and 582, while existing users can enjoy up to HK$50 discount for purchasing a 90-day unlimited Loco use. Citybus managing director Richard Hall said: "Tolo Harbour has always been a cycling hot spot many rely on Loco for green commuting. We are proud to partner to deliver this innovative option, reducing emissions and improving health."
