2 men arrested after fight over garbage disposal in Sha Tin public housing estate

Two men have been arrested after a physical altercation over garbage disposal issues at Chun Yeung Estate in Fo Tan on Tuesday night.

Police received reports around 11pm from security personnel at Chun Si House about two men involved in a dispute that escalated into physical confrontation. Officers arrested a 31-year-old surnamed Wong man and a 47-year-old surnamed Yeung man for fighting in a public place.

Both sustained injuries during the incident - Wong suffered facial injuries while Yeung had facial and hand injuries. They were transported conscious to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment.

The case has been transferred to Sha Tin police district crime squad for investigation.
