A horrifying two-minute-and-forty-three-second dashcam video that surfaced online Friday morning shows a bald man viciously beating a woman inside a parked private car at a construction site, leaving her apparently unconscious as the attacker attempts to drag her from the vehicle.
The incident, captured on November 13 at around 10pm unfolded behind water barriers at what appears to be a work site.
The footage begins with a couple seated in the driver and front passenger positions of a stationary car, engaged in what looks like a heated argument.
Without warning, the bald man in the driver’s seat unleashes a barrage of punches and slaps to the woman’s head and face.
She initially fights back, her hair flailing as she struggles, but the assault quickly escalates.
The man slams her head against the steering wheel multiple times and delivers heavy blows to her back and body.
At one point he steps out of the car, only to return upon seeing her still moving and resumes the attack with renewed fury, kicking her head and pounding her with his fists.
The violence continues until the woman slumps lifelessly, her upper body hanging partially outside the open door.
As the attacker grabs her clothing and tries to pull her back inside, the driver recording the scene pulls away.
In an accompanying online post, however, the witness stressed that he immediately circled back, alerted the police, and remained at the location until officers arrived.
The graphic clip has sparked outrage across social media, with viewers expressing horror at the sustained brutality and questioning why no one intervened sooner.
Many described the attack as resembling attempted murder, while others condemned the assailant in the strongest terms.
Police stated that at 10.06pm last night, a passerby reported seeing a man assaulting a woman inside a grey private car outside the public toilet near Tin Ping Shan Tsuen in Sheung Shui.
Officers arrived to find a 73-year-old man surnamed Li and a 41-year-old woman surnamed Chu, who claimed to be in a romantic relationship.
The pair had argued over relationship issues, which escalated into violence.
The case has been classified as a “dispute,” and no arrests have been made at this time.
