China’s CMS to list in Singapore by introduction

Chinese pharmaceutical firm China Medical System (0867) said it will pursue a secondary listing on the Singapore Exchange by way of introduction on July 15, with no new shares to be issued.

CMS said the secondary listing will support its expansion in Southeast Asia and strengthen its presence in Singapore, which now serves as the company’s regional headquarters for Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

The company, which specializes in therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, central nervous system, gastroenterology, and ophthalmology, has been listed in Hong Kong since 2010. It currently has five innovative drugs in the commercialization stage.

In 2024, CMS reported a net profit of 1.62 billion yuan (HK$1.77 billion), down 33 percent from a year earlier.
