Alphabet hits US$3 trillion in market capitalization for the first time

Google-parent Alphabet hit a market capitalization of US$3 trillion (HK$23.4 trillion) for the first time on Monday.

Class A and Class C shares of the company were up 3.8 percent at US$250, both trading at record highs.
