An 11-year-old boy died after falling from a height in Tuen Mun on Monday, landing in a flower bed and damaging a nearby car, with police now investigating the cause of the tragic incident.
The incident occurred today at Ching Tin Estate’s Ching Hay House in Tuen Mun, where an 11-year-old boy fell from a height and landed in a flower bed outside the building.
Police and firefighters rushed to the scene after receiving a report, and the boy was immediately transported to Tuen Mun Hospital for emergency treatment.
Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries. The fall also impacted a nearby private vehicle, shattering its windows.
It is understood that the boy was a Primary Six student, and police later found a suicide note indicating that the incident could be related to his dissatisfaction with academic performance.
