Chinese e-commerce platform Pinduoduo has ended its partnership with logistics giant SF Express in Hong Kong, leaving customers scrambling to change their delivery arrangements.
The termination, which took effect on June 30, means shoppers can no longer pick up Pinduoduo orders at SF Express locations across the city.
The split was first revealed on social media on Tuesday (July 1), when users shared screenshots of conversations with Pinduoduo customer service representatives confirming the partnership had ended.
Customers were advised to select pickup points operated by other logistics providers, with assurances that packages would still arrive according to schedule.
SF Express Hong Kong confirmed the development in an early Wednesday statement, noting that its consolidated shipping service contract with Pinduoduo had expired as scheduled on June 30.

Pinduoduo's customer service told users that any unfinished SF Express shipments would be handed over to alternative couriers for final delivery. As compensation, the platform is offering HK$3 vouchers for each affected order.
Reporters contacted SF Express Hong Kong's hotline as a customer this morning, confirming that while new Pinduoduo orders won't be accepted, any shipments with "SF"-prefix tracking numbers that left warehouses by June 30 will still be delivered by SF Express until all existing orders are cleared.
The termination affects Pinduoduo's popular free shipping promotion to Hong Kong, launched late last year. The offer allowed customers to enjoy free mainland-to-Hong Kong delivery when using one of four designated logistics partners, including SF Express, for packages meeting certain size and weight limits. Larger items qualified for discounted home delivery.
