EC Healthcare (2138), backed by Adrian Cheng Chi-kong, chief executive of New World Development (0017), says its net profit rose 2.4 percent to HK$197.5 million for the year ended March. It proposed a final dividend of 4.2 HK cents.
Revenue increased by 40.3 percent to a record high of HK$2.92 billion in 2022 from HK$2.08 billion in 2021 due to the significant increase in revenue generated from the medical segment.
Sales volume increased by 40.7 percent to a record HK$3.12 billion in 2022 from HK$2.22 billion in 2021.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased by 35 percent to HK$536.4 million in 2022 from HK$397.4 million in 2021.
The group's suite of medical services extends to 29 specialist disciplines, and the headcount of full-time and exclusive registered practitioners increased to 251.
