Chan Kin-por and Herbert Chia Pun-kok reappointed as HKEX directors

The government announced on Friday that the Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po had reappointed Chan Kin-por and Herbert Chia Pun-kok as members of the board of directors of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (0388).

Clement Chan Kam-wing will also join as a member of the board of directors of the HKEX. 

The reappointments and appointment will take effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of the HKEX in 2026 until the conclusion of its AGM in 2028, a term of around two years. 
      
Paul Chan said, "Clement Chan possesses extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly in the accounting and auditing sector, and has broad participation in public service relating to the securities and futures market. He will be able to support the HKEX in promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of the market."
      
Paul Chan also expressed his sincere gratitude to the retiring director, Susan Chow Woo Mo-fong, for her contribution to the development of the HKEX over the years.
