Nio's Firefly EV to be launched on April 19, integrating with Nio's battery swapping stations

Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio’s (9866) third sub-brand "Firefly" has announced that its first model will launch on April 19, with a presale price of 148,800 yuan (HK$160,000).

Firefly's first model targets the high-end compact car market in the 150,000-yuan price range, according to mainland media.

Firefly said it will adopt the existing battery specifications and swapping standards to integrate with Nio's fifth-generation battery swapping stations.
