The eMPF Platform has commenced the second phase of its implementation, with over 11,000 employer accounts registered, encompassing more than 400,000 employees, according to the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority.

MPFA managing director Cheng Yan-chee said on radio that smaller trustees, representing around 2 percent of total MPF assets, were successfully integrated into the platform during its initial phase.
Since its launch in June 2024, the eMPF Platform has processed over 220,000 transactions, with fewer than 600 complaints reported, according to Cheng.
