China state-owned firms' profits up 0.4pc y/y in 2024

Profits at China's state-owned enterprises rose 0.4 percent in 2024 from the previous year, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement on its website on Sunday.

That compares with a 7.4 percent rise in state firm profits in 2023.
